Terms of use

Terms of use of the HomeMoney service.

Updated:

In short: HomeMoney is a tool for tracking your finances. You are responsible for the data you enter and for access to your account; we are responsible for keeping the service running and your data protected.

1. General provisions

These Terms govern the use of the HomeMoney web service and apps (the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by a sole proprietor (FOP) whose details are shown in the bank details for paying for plans (“we”, “us”).

By signing up for or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Account and security

  • You need an account to use the Service. You can sign up with an email address or with Google or Apple.
  • The Service is for adults; minors may use it only with the permission of their parents or legal guardians.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your password secret. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication under “Security”.
  • You are responsible for actions taken from your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and sign out of all devices.

3. Workspaces and shared access

Data is kept in workspaces: “Home” for personal and family finances and “Business” for your own business. The owner of a workspace can invite members and give them roles. The owner is responsible for who gets access and can revoke it at any time.

4. Connecting banks and importing

  • You can connect Monobank and PrivatBank accounts with a token you obtain from your bank yourself, or upload a statement as a CSV file.
  • The Service only reads statements and balances. It cannot make payments or transfers from your accounts.
  • You can switch a connection off in the Service at any time and revoke the token at your bank.
  • We are not responsible for outages of bank interfaces or for the accuracy of data provided by the bank.

5. Plans and payment

  • The basic features of the Service are free, with the limits described on the Premium page. The Silver and Gold plans remove the limits and unlock more features, including the business workspace.
  • Payment is made by bank transfer using the bank details or QR code the Service shows when you place an order. Always include the order code in the payment reference.
  • A plan is activated once the payment is confirmed — automatically from the bank statement or manually by an administrator.
  • A plan runs for the paid period and does not renew automatically. Unpaid orders are cancelled after some time.
  • When a plan ends, your data is kept and access to paid features is limited until the next payment.
  • Refunds for a paid period are made in the cases provided for by the law of Ukraine.

6. Rules of use

You must not:

  • use the Service for illegal activities, including laundering the proceeds of crime;
  • try to access other people’s accounts, workspaces or data;
  • interfere with the Service, overload it or bypass technical limits;
  • upload malicious code or content that infringes the rights of others.

If these rules are broken, we may restrict or block the account.

7. Your data and liability

  • The data you enter belongs to you. You are responsible for its accuracy.
  • The Service is a tracking tool and does not give financial, tax or legal advice. Tax calculations, safe-to-spend amounts and forecasts are for information only — check important decisions with a professional.
  • The Service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running smoothly but do not guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions, including during maintenance.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by incorrectly entered data, by actions of third parties you gave access to, or by force majeure.

8. Ending use

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account together with its data. We may stop providing the Service to a user who breaks these Terms, notifying them by email where possible.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of the page. We will announce significant changes in the Service or by email. By continuing to use the Service after a change, you accept the new version.

10. Governing law and contacts

These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Disputes are settled by negotiation and, if no agreement is reached, in the manner established by law.

If you have questions about these Terms, reply to any HomeMoney email or write to the address the Service’s emails come from.
